ミレニアム懸賞問題

アメリカのクレイ数学研究所によって、7つの数学の難問に対して100万ドルの懸賞金がかけられている。
懸賞金を日本円にすると約8000万円。

そのうちの1つ、ポアンカレ予想（The Poincare Conjecture）についてはペレルマンによって解かれ、一大ニュースになった。
残りは6つ。

そもそも問題を理解することからハードルが高いかもしれないけど、原文のPDFファイルに簡単にアクセスできるので、怖いもの見たさでちょっと覗いてみるのもいいかもしれない。
